EOC week 2

The PlayStation 3 is the “star”.  The ps3 offers way more than the other systems combined. The ps3 is a super computer, it offers top of the line blue ray quality, 3d, pc realistic color format, fast image processing with 0 lag. Sure it didn’t sale as fast as the others but PlayStation and the ps3 remains the king of the gaming word by more than doubling  the overall sales of its competitors. Even though having a higher price tag than the others. The system that does it all is the ps3, there’s nothing it can’t do compared to its competition. The PlayStation 3 is a graphical powerhouse, with a cutting-edge Cell processor and a customized Nvidia graphics chip that could melt most gaming PCs. But the console goes beyond gaming, doubling as a Blu-ray and DVD movie player.

The dog has to be the nintendo wii. This console is the cheapest. For parents with kids that wanted to buy something cheap and fun they bought the Nintendo wii. The Nintendo wii has no HD quality, it is the cheapest build out of the big 3. Nintendo and the Nintendo wii accomplished what they wanted to was sale a very low cost system. The system sold quick but later became an epic fail because of the lack of internals such as processer speed, games and HD quality . If you don't mind the dearth of HD graphics, the Nintendo Wii's combination of motion-sensitive controllers, included Wii Sports titles, and emphasis on fun gameplay make the ultra-affordable console hard to resist.

The xbox 360 is the cash cow. If a consumer didn’t mind dealing with mid HD quality, plastic like color format, lagging game play and online cost. They would have choose the xbox 360. The xbox 360 sold for a cheaper price and was sold before the ps3 release date. Microsoft aimed at the people who wanted a system but who couldn’t or didn’t want to wait for the ps3. The Elite fails to correct most of the annoyances of the original 360 version: the noisy DVD drive and cooling fan; a gigantic, oversize power supply; no built-in wireless networking; only three USB ports; a substandard DVD player; online gaming requires a paid subscription to Xbox Live; proprietary wireless format limits third-party accessories.
